Sondeo de experiencias de
integrar género, puebles indígenas y manejo de recursos naturales
En 2004, cuatro de las cinco
organizaciones participando en IGNARM realizaron un sondeo de experiencias
de integrar género, pueblos indígenas y manejo de recursos naturales
dentro de sus socios internacionales. El sondeo se hizo a través de dos
encuestas: una encuesta breve para establecer una impresión general y una
encuesta de seguimiento para profundizar en más detalle sobre algunas de
las experiencias encontradas a través de la encuesta breve. Los formatos
de las encuestas y los resultados encontrados en cada una de las cuatro
organizaciones en encuentran abajo.

Revisión de experiencias
prácticas de integración de pueblos indígenas, género y manejo de recursos
naturales
En 2004, IGNARM pedió a personas indígenas
seleccionadas de revisar las experiencias prácticas de integrar pueblos
indígenas, género y manejo de recursos naturales de países/regiones
seleccionados. Estas revisiones han resultados en los siguientes informes:

IGNARM database
Part of the goal of IGNARM has been to create a
database that compiles information on all relevant literature - academic
as well as practical - dealing with the interplay of indigenous peoples,
gender, and natural resource management which is either available at a
Danish library open to the public, or available as full text documents on
the internet.
In the database, it is possible to search literature
of interest by using free search (keywords, author, title, ISBN etc.) or
to choose between different types of literature (books, articles, project
documents, policies and strategies).
It is not possible to order literature directly in
the database or to check the availability, but under each entry it is
possible to see where the material is kept. Danish users can look under
contacts in the database for the address of the library where the material
is kept, and registered library users can order online. However, it is not
possible to take out books from the IWGIA library, but only to read books
and other materials at the library during office hours.
So far, the amount of entries in the database
dealing with all three subjects: indigenous peoples, gender, and natural
resource management is not very extensive. For links to literature dealing
with only one of two of the subjects see under references in the ‘state of
the art paper’ , or under the various organizations listed under ‘Selected
links’.
